Happy Monday!
How are you? I’m still buzzing from my yoga class this morning. It was a challenging one. Fifty minutes of constant movement. A big change from the class I took on Friday, when we spent time pausing and in quiet reflection. But that’s what it’s all about, right? Balance.
When we are in motion, we keep with the breath to steady the body and move with intention. And it is in stillness where we connect with the breath to steady the mind and discover that intention. We cannot have one without the other for long. Without steadiness, it’s difficult to find our footing. Without the intention, we become lost. And if we stay in motion, without steadiness, without intention, especially when we feel ungrounded or lost, that is when we burn out. That is when we begin to question our purpose.
This is why we pause and return again and again to the practice of mindfulness. It is where we can recharge our energy, and regain our sense of calm, and our purpose. And then we begin again, rooted in our intentions – with strength, with readiness. But don’t let it be a cycle of depleting and recharging. Stay balanced in the two – movement and stillness.
Cultivate the space.
Nurture the practice.
Give yourself permission.
You deserve it.
In case you missed it, here’s a guided visualization for letting go of the thoughts. Learning to let go of the thoughts is one of the first steps towards connecting with your deeper sense of being and living a life with intention. I hope you enjoy it.
Have a beautiful week, my friend.
Bye for now!
