Hello, my friend! Happy Monday!
I hope you’ve had a good week and found reasons to smile.
I know this can be difficult at times. And though it can feel easier to lament, it’s the delights that really keep us going – that give us a reason to pause and take notice.
I’ve recently started a daily delight practice. At the start of each day, I write two journal pages about something that makes me smile. It’s become another form of meditation – spending a little time telling a story about a joy in my life. I start with something simple. My favorite sweater. Hydrangea blooms. But the story often grows into things more grand – the people and events they bring to mind. More delights. And I start the day feeling lighter. Grateful for my experiences.
This week’s meditation was inspired by this ritual. It’s a 10-minute guided practice to help bring to mind your own delights. I hope you enjoy it.
Have a beautiful week.
Bye for now.
