Monday Motivation #105
Happy Monday!
Here we are once again.
And as we move deeper into this Fall season, preparing our homes for the holiday season, we’re reminded to prepare the heart as well – cultivating it as a place to hold our love and gratitude – and our peace.
It’s easy to move away from gratitude sometimes. Especially this time of year as we’re bombarded daily with images and ideas of the things we lack. But when we pause and push away the story that we need more, all that we already have becomes clear. We give the feelings of scarcity permission to melt away, and we’re able to see the abundance that surrounds us and our hearts can once again feel full.
This Thanksgiving, and for the rest of this holiday season, as we prepare the food and gifts we will share, let’s remember to also prepare ourselves.
Take a moment each day to focus on your energy within – invite your body to relax and your heart to open – and invite in feelings of love and gratitude for all that you have. Believe that this is the greatest gift you can receive – and share with others!
And remember, if some days you don’t have the energy to give your love to others, that’s ok. Just hold it close like the precious gem that it is. Use it to cultivate your own quiet and safe space within – a sanctuary of comfort, where you can rest and begin again when you’re ready.
Here’s a guided meditation if you need some help getting started.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving. May your days and your hearts be filled with the feelings of love and abundance.
Bye for now.
