Hello!
Happy Monday! I’m so happy to be arriving here with you today!
Over these past two years, I’ve really come to appreciate the importance of community – how much there is to gain, learn, and be reminded of when we come together. We are all here sharing this experience, and when we open ourselves to give and to receive it enhances our journey, and fosters that sense of unity.
My drive towards community led me to a women’s circle last night at my yoga studio, led by my teacher there, Marilyn. Marilyn is a beautiful soul who shares my love of nature and learning and she gathered us last night to reflect on the theme of gratitude. We learned about the proven scientific benefits of gratitude on the mind and the body and shared together not just the things we were grateful for but why we are grateful for them and how they make us feel. I left with a renewed sense of energy and an eagerness to share this cultivated positivity with my family and friends.
This happiness carried into this morning, inspiring me to continue this part of my wellness journey. Marilyn suggested a 21-day gratitude challenge, which I whole-heartedy accept and I invite you to join. Starting on December 1st, I’ll be sharing questions and journal prompts via email to encourage you along the way. If you’d like to participate or know someone who might, sign up with this link!
I truly am grateful to have the opportunity to hold space in a little part of your day. It’s why I return here again and again each week. It fills me with joy. And everytime you share a little bit of yourself with me, it lights me up even more. So I thank you whole-hearty. I am grateful for you.
To express my gratitude I’ll continue to post free guided meditations on Youtube each week. Here’s one from last week, in case you missed it.
And if you’d like to work together in person, my office hours begin Tuesday, December 5th. You’ll find me in the beautiful Fire and Ice Wellness Lounge in Wantagh, NY. Contact me for more info!
I hope you have a wonderful week and a Happy Thanksgiving. Despite the challenges we all face and the struggles we see happening in our world, there’s still much to be grateful for. Let’s cultivate the love and positivity surrounding that gratitude, with the hope that it guides us to bring more light into our loves and our community.
Much love, my friends.
