Hello, hello!

I hope it’s a happy Monday for you.

And if you’re week is starting out not as grand as you’d like, that’s why you’re here: to pause, to gather yourself, and to begin again.

Let’s take that deep breath the body craves. Notice what you’re feeling. Accept even what feels uncomfortable. And let go of whatever you can for now with the exhale.

Feeling maybe a little bit better? I hope so.

I’ve got summer vibes on my mind these days. The warm weather, the late nights; they’re calling me. You’re way more likely to find me at the beach than my desk this season, though I’ll likely still be working. Just not in that hustle and grind way you may think. Summer for me is all about the slow down. It’s about going outside, deepening my connection with nature, and nurturing my connection with myself. It’s also about accepting the challenge to not get so wrapped up in ALL the activity and fun to be had. It’s about reminding myself to get rest, to drink lots of water, and to take those mid-day breaks I need to recharge. That’s how our lifestyles remains sustainable. That’s the real work I’ll be doing. It’s definitely easier said than done, but the payout is priceless.

If you’ve been following me for a while you know I’m all about #slowdownsummer. And this year will be no different. I’ll be working on lots of great content to help support the journey and of course sharing it with you.  

But for now, just keep checking in. Set a reminder each day to take a couple of minutes just to pause and reset. Or check out one of my videos on Youtube if you need some help.
