Hello!

Happy New Year!

I know it’s not Monday but if you’re like me, I’m sure you can still use a little extra motivation today. It’s January 2nd, and it sort of feels like a Monday. The biggest Monday of the year perhaps, no matter what day of the week it actually is. Does anyone know what day it is??

So how’s it going? Are you ready for 2024?

I’ll admit I’m still pretty foggy from the holidays. But I’m excited – excited to get things started. And excited to set my intentions.

I prefer to set intentions rather than resolutions. Resolutions seem so committal and demanding – and there’s an opportunity for failure, which for me creates pressure and fear – two things I’d like a lot less of in my life.

Intentions, on the other hand, are more thoughtful and open-ended. They’re like a roadmap you can use to move through everyday life. When we make an honest effort to root ourselves in our intentions, we may find ourselves more deeply aligned with how we want to live, and naturally move toward our goals with ease. And each day is a new opportunity, to take a few moments to pause, remember our intentions, and begin again.

My intention for the New Year is to create more space.

More space in my heart, in my body and in my mind –

to give the pendulum more room to swing –

to allow balance.

Balance with all the things.

So what intentions will you carry with you in 2024? How do you want to be and feel?

For those in my area, I’ll be offering a special Intention Setting Workshop on January 9th at 6:30 pm at Fire and Ice Wellness Lounge. Together we’ll create space to connect with our inner wisdom and set our intentions for the new year!

I’d love to see you there! Register here!

In the meantime, I invite you to set aside some time on your own to pause and set your intentions. Close your eyes, take a few deep breaths, and listen to what your heart is telling you. How do you want to see yourself moving through this new year? What feels like it aligns with you? The true you. The one that only you know.

I’d love to hear what you come up with!

Thank you as always, my friend, for making it this far with me! I hope you have a beautiful week and a beautiful start to your new year. I look forward to sharing more with you soon.

Be well and much love!

Bye for now!
