Happy Monday! And Happy July!

We’ve made it through half the year. Always hard to believe, isn’t it?

The kids are out of school. Summer is in full force.

This past week, I found myself surprised. It felt like the warm weather took forever to arrive, and then ‘poof’ – here it is – and it feels like it’s here to stay – for now.

I’m doing my best to embrace summer as much as I can. Going outside often. Feeling the energy of the season. Experiencing the sensations, the sounds, the smells. There really is so much happening this time of year.

And I’m learning more and more to embrace things as they are. And in order to embrace, we must first connect – connect within ourselves and with the world around us.

Recognize what feelings are coming from within and which are a response to what’s on the outside. And which do we have control over? Then we adjust accordingly what we can, and embrace the rest.

We cannot honor what we need if we do not first learn what it is.

My newest guided meditation is an opportunity to grow that awareness within your own body in order to connect more deeply with the present and the natural world around you – as well as with your true self.

You’ll practice noticing the sensations of your skin in connection with the space around you and how it affects the space within you – your thoughts – your emotions.

It’s an opportunity to get to know who you are in relation to where you are – an invitation to heighten your awareness, with the intention of cultivating a sense of ease and connectedness.

I encourage you to take some time to journal your experience. Put what you feel into words. Reflect on what comes up.

That’s all for today my friend. I hope you have a wonderful week and a safe and happy Independence Day. Perhaps set aside some time to reflect on your own independence, and the things that make you unique – different and special from everything else. Take a few quiet moments to celebrate being YOU!

Much love, and

Bye for now. ❤️
