How do you feel today? Where are you on your path?
Mine feels a bit windy and unclear, and this week, I found myself looking back.
I try to live each day in the present. But sometimes it’s helpful to look back at the road that got you here – to see your progress and appreciate the wisdom you held in the past.
After all, we didn’t just arrive here by accident. And even if things feel upside down at the moment – even if there were a handful of mistakes you’d rather forget (we’ve all made them) – I’m sure there are still a few, heck, many things to be grateful for.
You’re still the same resourceful, capable, and kind individual who started that journey – and likely even wiser now!
This mindset is particularly helpful if you find yourself at a crossroad or beginning again. Pause and reflect. Take stock of the tools you already have. Find the voice within that guided you here. Even if you made mistakes. Even if you fell off track.
What was the purpose?
And then, take a deep breath.
Lighten your load – the narrative that might be bogging you down. Set your eyes forward.
Begin again.
Today I’m sharing with you a guided meditation from the past today. It’s an opportunity to connect with the present through the breath – to let go of negative thoughts and reconnect with your true positive self – the one who knows the way.
